About Japanese Wine
Japanese wine is 100% made with grapes grown in Japan without any imported grapes or grape juice.
It has been said that Japanese wine contains less organic salt compared to European wine.
It can be considered that the reason for this is that Koshu grapes, which are the main ingredient for Japanese wine, contain less organic acid compared to European grapes.
Due to this characteristics, Japanese wine pairs better with seafood compared to wine made with European grapes.
Japanese wine is best served after chilled in a refrigerator, although wine made with European grapes is best served at the naturally cooled temperature of an underground vault called a cave.

Wine and Health
Wine is an alcoholic beverage containing many minerals, such as potassium and calcium. As wine itself contains many organic acids, although it is acidic, once it is digested and absorbed in the body it serves as an alkali, similarly to vegetables and fruits. Also, there have been research results announced stating that the polyphenols contained in wine, especially abundantly in red wine, prevent arteriosclerosis, which is a cause of myocardial infarction and cerebral infarction, which are the main cause of death for advanced nations.
